About Us

Mrs. Moll

My name is Val Moll.  I am excited to be teaching 1st grade at CVC this year. My husband Dane, and our three boys are all at CVC too.  This is exactly where we feel God is calling our family to be and we are honored to invest our time and gifts at this school.
If you are new to CVC, welcome!  I am looking forward to experiencing this new school year with you as a teacher and parent.  I have had experience of teaching grades K-3rd, and Learning Resource. Many people have asked what grade is my favorite so far, and I have to say "All of them!".  I love all the developmental stages of children, and most of all I enjoy seeing the progress that is made in a school year.
Thank you for investing your time, energy and resources into CVC.  God's blessing to your family in the new school year ahead, and thank you for the opportunity to be your child's teacher.

Miss Arnold

My name is Brie Arnold.  I am honored to be teaching your children this year and it is such a privilege to be teaching in a Christ-centered environment.  What an amazing opportunity to speak truth into the lives of students!

I grew up in a town called Bloomington, IL, though my parents moved to Carmel, IN three years ago.  I attended a small Christian school, Cornerstone Christian Academy.  From there, I made the long trek up to Palos Heights, IL to begin my undergraduate studies at Trinity Christian College.  During my time at Trinity, the Lord made it abundantly clear that teaching was one of the blessed callings that He was placing on my life.  I graduated in 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education (K-9) and in Special Education (K-12).

Though this will be my first official year teaching, I have spent numerous hours in various classrooms ranging from kindergarten, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades (note: all grades except 1st) as well as with 6-8 year olds and middle school students in special education. Throughout this year, I, as well as your children, will have great learning experiences, struggles, breakthroughs, and a great deal of fun!

I also want to extend a thank you to you, parents, for sending your child to CVC and I look forward to getting to know each of you as we work together to help your child grow academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually.  I’m excited to aid in raising up the next generation of the Lord’s mighty warriors!  May the Lord bless you!

Mrs. Schuil

Greetings!  My name is Anna Schuil, and words cannot describe how excited I am and how blessed I feel to be teaching your children this year!  My desire is that they will see the love of Christ through me as we go on this wonderful adventure through 1st grade together!

I grew up in Reedley, CA, not too far from Visalia, and attended Immanuel High School (I know, I have crossed to the other side!)  For two years, I completed my general education at Reedley College, then transferred to Biola University.  After two years at Biola, I graduated in 2011 with my bachelor of arts in liberal studies, an emphasis in Early Childhood, and my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential.

Fortunately, I was hired right away back in my hometown, and I have spent the past three years teaching 1st grade at T.L. Reed school in Reedley.  During those three years, I met the love of my life, Stephen, and we just celebrated our one-year wedding anniversary the beginning of August.  Stephen works in the family real estate business, Schuil & Associates here in Visalia, so we are very excited to both become more established in the community here. Our "children" as of now are our two dogs, Duchess, a classy bulldog, and Chloe, an energetic lab puppy.  We both agree they are excellent practice for having kids someday!

While this is my first year teaching at CVC, it will be my fourth year teaching 1st grade.  I absolutely love it and I believe it is the most important grade for children.  They learn the foundational skills they will need to build on for the rest of their time in school.  The exciting change for me is that the first and foremost foundation we are building on is Christ, and integrating things of God into our teaching.  I want to thank you so much for all you do, and I look forward to working as a team with each of you so that your children will be victorious in the Lord and successful in school!  Blessings to you all!
