Quarter 2 Test Kindergarten

 Review Guide

1. Be able to read the following color words: red, blue, yellow, green, orange, purple, brown, white, black

2. Be able to say the names of the following shapes when given a picture: square, circle, triangle, rectangle, oval, heart, diamond

3. Be able to name the letter, write the letter (upper and lowercase) and provide the sounds for: Aa, Cc, Dd, Ff, Gg, Ii, Ll, Oo, Ss, Tt

4. Write your first and last name with a capital first letter and the rest lowercase using proper letter formation.

5. Be able to recognize the following numbers: 0-15

6. Be able to write the following numbers: 0- 15

7. Counting by 10s to 100, and counting by 1s to 50, and by 5s to 100.

8. Memory/Sight Words: a, is, I, it 

9. Basic Addition and Subtraction problems using numbers less than 10. (Ex: 1+4=?  5-3=?)

10. Basic Rhyming. (Ex: Cat- hat     boat-coat)

11.  Reading words using the combination of letters listed above in #3. Sounding out is fine and good! We will only provide words that they can sound out phonetically...so NO tricky vowel combinations or silent letters. :) (Ex: odd, glad, sad, ...etc.)

Testing will be December 8-12 and possibly into the following week.
